.jpg) Attorney Brian E. Simoneau graduated from the Massachusetts School of Law, cum laude, in 2001. He has established himself as an expert in Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles Law and Procedures. He consistently achieves outstanding results in the areas of license reinstatements, license suspension appeals, breathalyzer refusal suspension appeals, ignition interlock violation hearings, and a variety of other areas of law involving Massachusetts license suspensions and reinstatements.
Although he does not practice criminal law, he practices extensively before the Registry of Motor Vehicles, the Board of Appeal, and in courts throughout Massachusetts. Attorney Simoneau is admitted to practice in the Massachusetts State Courts and in the United States Federal District Court for the First District of Massachusetts. He has trained police officers throughout Massachusetts in principles of search and seizure, motor vehicle law, criminal law, civil liability, and various other legal topics.
Attorney Simoneau is a recognized authority on the Ignition Interlock Device. He has successfully challenged the interlock device at numerous levels and he knows how to effectively refute interlock device results.
Attorney Simoneau is an Adjunct Professor at Boston University, where he teaches Criminal Law at the BU Metropolitan College of Criminal Justice.
